Description

Our client, based in Leyland, is looking for a Head Chef on a 12 week Temp to Perm basis. Working 40 hours a week, 7.30am – 6pm on a 7 day rota.

Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months experience in a Head Chef Role, hold a current Health & Hygiene Certificate, COSHH and be able to manage a small team and all day to day kitchen operations. Previous experience in a care setting would be advantageous.
The role involves all aspects of running a kitchen including ordering, costs, general hygiene, health and safety, menu rotation and specific dietary requirements. Reporting in to the Care Home Manager.
